Part Number - 4wd Module

I have been scouring the site for info related to the 4wd not engaging.



What I have found is:

1) Check the fuses

2) Validate the switch

3) Replace the module

4) Tap the motor with a mallet



Diagnostics and issues include:

a) Watch the dash lights during startup (may or may not be valid).

b) Take care not to discharge the battery.

c) Take care when disconnecting the battery.



While several people have had different experiences, no one (that I have found) has posted the part number for the control module. Does anyone have a part number?

If memory serves, the module part numbers vary by year and other factors. Your best bet is to remove the passenger side kick panel and get the part number from your existing module.
