Passenger seat reclines less than driver's side.

I have an 04 XLT premium, gen1, and I just noticed that the passenger seat doesn't recline as far back as the driver's side. Is this normal?

I have an '04 xlt prm. Cloth no heaters. Passenger seat reclines 4" on back side from the rear bench.

If one side has power controls and the other has normal manual controls, I would not be surprised that there could be a difference in their reclining capabilities as well.

Both seats have power controls but the recliner is a manual pull handle. Eddie, the passenger side reclines about 4" from the bench but the driver's side almost touches it. I thought this odd. A little perk for the driver I guess.

Just a thought, are the front of the seats where the back of your legs rest in the same spot?
