PATS key for 07

I just purchased an 07 ST and wanted to get a spare key made for the ignition.....I went to the local Locksmith and he wanted 79.95 ea.



I saw the keys on E-Bay for a lot less money and was wondering if the key for the 05 ST is the same? It looks identical.

Not sure about the '07's, so be sure the key advertised on eBay is compatible with an '07 Trac.



I bought a spare PATS key for my wife's '06 Escape. The dealer wanted $50, got it on eBay for $18 including shipping. Will cost me $2 to get it cut at Wal-Mart.

The same PATS key works for the new 07's that worked on the previous year models. You can program it yourself if the dealership gave you 2 keys with your truck. If you only have one then you will need to go to a locksmith or back to the dealer(probably the locksmith will be cheaper unless you can get a hook-up at the dealeship).

Ordered two (2) PATS keys last night from E-bay for $37 shipped to my door....spoke to the locksmith today and said he would cut the keys for $2 each.

Got the keys cut today and programmed them.....worked like a charm. Had the local locksmith cut them and was only charged $1.50ea.
