thanks

Not much to go on, but most idle problems are cause by the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. As STanner suggests, I would clean or replace the IAC and see if that does not solve the problem.

After IAC, check this PCV hose, especially the bottom side.

Evaporator leak is possibly the charcoal canister vent hose.

Im thinking fuel pressure. Either the pump or fuel rail regulator. I think the '03 has a shrader valve on the fuel rail. Have the fuel pressure checked.

cleaned the iac vavle, checked the hose on the pvc vavle. i will let you know haven`t started it up yet. i putting on an intake tommorrow. then going to reset the ecu. keep u informed.

Based on the pic provided by swshawaii, check that elbow and then follow it to the back of the manifold and there will be another elbow to check as well. Check the entire line from throttle body to PCV. It's a cheap little elbow(s) to replace, once you get to them.

Take Eddies advice on this one and if I were you I wouldn't do any modifications like the intake you want to install untill after you get it fixed.

I agree that you should do NOTHING to the intake until you solve the idle issue.

Bottom line is, you can have all the goodies in the world and best modification out there, but unless you have good base engine (good spark plugs, no vacuum issues, good ignition, ect, ect) then all you will have is an engine with a miss that has come at a substantial cost...

checked all hoses and eblows all good clean troddle body, cleaned iac vavle, installed new intake and reset ecu. so far so codes runs good and no codes right now. knock on wood. i will replace the pvc vavle next. less than 81,000 miles and doing good.

thanks
