Question about F150 Trucks

Hi Y'all. I have an unusual question: Can you put a trailer ball on the bumper of an 04 F150. I know the older trucks had a plug on the bumper, but I don't know about the newer trucks. I will be using my dad's F150 to pull a trailer and I need to know if this will be a problem. I should have looked before I left, but I didn't.

I have seen some bumpers come through without the ball option. Though I don't know for a fact, I have to believe that the specific bumper in question is rated at ZERO for safety reasons. So I would say no,,, if there is no provision to slip it through and bolt it up, then I would NOT make a hole and use it as it will be designed differently in the mounting area.

I dont know about the tongue height of your trailer. '04 F-150 has a fairly tall bumper.
