if i can unlock and lock it by the key but not the switch is it the actuator

Only way of knowing is by removing the door panel.

well i bought a door lock actuator. took it to the shop to have it put in. well the shop went to do it and found out that my actuator was good it was just the rivet that holds it broke so they put new rivet in and now it works like it suppose to
