:banghead:Yesterday, my son was leaving for work and as he was backing out something was leaking from his 1990 Ford Ranger. I had him pull back in and we both saw gas leaking from the engine passenger side rear. We couldn't get far enough under it to see where it was coming from so we ran it up on ramps. The drip was coming from the area of the oil filter. But once up on the ramps the leak stopped never to return. Does anyone have any idea what could have caused a gas leak in this area?:banghead:

Sounds like maybe an injector leak when cold and when it warms up it seals itself. If that is the case look closely at all the injectors, evidence of fuel leaks are easy to spot because the area wheret he leak occured is always noticably cleaner than the surrounding area and the fuel will also leave a stain.
