I was thinking of getting them for my Sport Trac, but the $196 each price tag kind of turned me off. I have always had good luck with Goodyear tires, especially their premium tires, but I know some people here don't like them. I would never consider the Goodyear Wranglers as their premium model tire for off-road or street driving.
I think it all depends on the individual model tire and how you drive and where you use the tire. The problem is people think an SUV or Light Truck tire should have all the same qualities as a high performance automobile tire...which is just never the case.
I like a tire that has very good wet-weather traction, and those pretty much don't exist in SUV or Truck tires with the exception of the Goodyear Triple-Tread. On my 2001 Sport Trac
I had Goodyear Wrangler RFA's (Rotation Free - AquaTreads). They were very good tires with excellent wet-weather traction and great treadwear life. The had different tread designs for the front and rear tires, but never required any rotation. After 42K miles the tires had never been rotated and still looked nearly new. If they still made them, I would have put them on my Toyota Highlander, but they don't
