So with 119,000 miles I figured the U-joints in the rear drive shaft might be a little used up and I also wanted to have the shaft balanced since I've been feeling a vibration on the highway even after my tires were balanced. There is this place in Westlake OH. called Henderson driveline that is able to balance drive shafts so I had them put the new u-joints in and balance it. Turns out it was in need of a good balance, they tacked on some new weight to it. I got new greasable joints installed and they also greased up the slip joint. Cost me $159. I'm happy, I'll have it on the Highway tomorrow and I'll post an update after that drive.

Let me know cause I have a vibration in the seat as well. and I have had the new tires road forced balanced, Ive clean all surfaces where they mounted. Replaced u-joints. And still a vibration at 75 plus...

I have been lucky. With the xcal3., speed limiter removed. I have maxed it past the speedometer. No vibes..

Eddie ya daredevel! .. :driving:

Over 120 in an ST is almost as bad as my 140+ in a 1974 Maverick.

(BUILT 302 and C4 Tranny, but bad shocks, No power brakes, and all 4 were drum)

Does seem smoother, I do have a tire with what the dealer described as having "Runout" so I might be having that particular wheel/tire broke down and rebalanced
