noticed the other day that my rear end is spinning gear fluid right from the center of the yoke where it connects to the rear end......any suggestions?....cost? has anyone had this happen to thier ST

I also had a tranny flush/fluid replacement at the local Kwik Kar Lube, now when I'm slowing down to stop my tranny feels like it's downshifting into first gear @3-5MPH, make almost feel like a standard.....I'm concerned

The additive is unsafe, I never trust them...

The front pinion seal is leaking. The part is about 30 bucks, the labor can be up to 200 bucks..

they did add the additive to bring the fluid to merconV specs by the way...

The additive was issued by Ford to bring the wrong fluid that was installed at the factory to Mercon V specs. If they used Mercon V for the tranny, then there is no need for and additive since it is already Mercon V.

Todd is right about the pinion seal.

I think they used regular dex and added the mercV additive NOT the ford additive to ford merc V...
