My rear sliding window motor gave up a few weeks ago. I bought a used motor and installed it, but all it did was jerk the window down slightly twice then nothing. It wouldn`t do anything again. So I just bought a new motor off ebay and this is my question.

Do I need to do anything different when I install the new motor?

Certain procedure to program in new motor?????

Please help!!!! Don`t want to burn up another motor if something electrical is wrong.

Thanks in Advance.

There is a special procedure for resetting the motor. I believe it is in the owners manual..

there is a procedure for initializing the rear window. Do a search for "rear window" and you should come up with the procedure in on of the posts. There is only a reset procedure in the manual.
