regular fuel in a premium fuel vehicle question

the wifey messed up and put regular in her 350Z instead of premium. it was near empty and now it is full of regular.

need to worry or just blast it out and maybe fill at 3/4 and half with premium ?



now i am going to take the car away from her :smack:

You should be OK. Most vehicles have knock sensors and will back off the timing to get rid of the knock. If you detect knock yourself, then back off on the throttle and run the tank down.

Dump a bottle of octane booster in there! Drive it around to mix it up and you should have no performance issues. I've used Lucas brand a couple of times, it seems to be the best. Bob

I've always wondered about those octane boosters. Kinda just figured they were a way to get the ricer boy crowd's money.

Only over time have I seen some ( pathfinder or xtera) dont remember have some sor tof issue beceause of this....
