Removing Bed Tie downs

Is there anything available to put in place of the tie downs on the outside of truck bed? Looking for more of flush fitting replacement.

They are made from Billet Aluminium. I think you can get them in a black powdercoat....

I bought the aluminum ones from Erik Larson also. He doesn't offer them chromed anymore. I priced having them chromed locally and the estimate was around $125 for all six.

There is also a member project about flush mounting the OE hooks. Some day I hope to have a spare hour to get to it..... :wacko:

Yeah, that's what I did. Keep in mind, if you have the folding Ford tonneau lid, you need these cleats to hook the bungee cords around if you have to drive with the cover folded over while hauling a tall item.



They still look factory (actually - better), but no longer catch your sleeves.
