Replace of fix locks in tonneau cover???

My locks and wire seem to be all messed up on my cover, will the dealer fix this or do i need to see a lock smith?? OR figure it out my self. The key turns in the lock but does nothing on both ends. Any direction you can point me would be appreciated. Thx Steven

Replace the cable assemblies on the locks. They're about $40 each I think. Not hard to do.

Yup.. there is a crappy little plastic pin broken in the mechanism. Non repairable. Have to replace the cable assembly. Pop the old one off by prying or pulling up and inline with the lock cylinder. When you install the new one it is a one time thing. It will not come off without damage to the little keepers that secure it to the cylinder.

I've got the same problem on the tailgate side. Up by the rear window the cover won't even lock. Does it need the same fix?
