No, I mean the OBD error codes. Click the "DTC" tab.
In the picture it's showing the codes P0455, P0461 and B1201 and B1352No, I mean the OBD error codes. Click the "DTC" tab.
Did you ever resolve this? I am having the exact same issue. The cluster was just replaced and the fuel level stays below the E (not at the E). I disconnected the fuel pump and sending unit harness and connected a new one fuel pump and sending unit (not in the tank) and moved the float and nothing changed. Then I started down the path of finding the wiring diagram and found that the pcm sends a voltage ref signal to the fuel sending unit and discovered that while checking all the wires I had a high resistance coming from the pcm fuel ref signal wire (I think it was yellow and white ) anyway, that was what led me to trying to reset the pcm to see if maybe the pcm was sending an incorrect voltage or something.
I ended up dropping the gas tank, replaced the fuel pump and sending unit and the gasket for the fuel pump sending unit (the gasket that sits around the neck of the gas tank opening). After I did that and cleared the codes everything worked and haven’t had anymore codes come back.Did you ever resolve this? I am having the exact same issue.
Gotcha. I replaced the fuel pump/sender and dismantled the cluster and resoldered all of the pins on the two connector plugs and my gauge still does what yours did, goes up to empty on engine start and then drops back below. After I pulled the other pump I put a meter on the sender and that one appears to work too. I have P0461 (Fuel Level Sensor Performance) in the PCM and B1201 (Fuel Sender Circuit Fault) in the cluster. I don't recall if I cleared codes again after replacing the sender or not, I will try when I am at the shop in the morning. Did you have to clear codes again to get the gauge to work?I ended up dropping the gas tank, replaced the fuel pump and sending unit and the gasket for the fuel pump sending unit (the gasket that sits around the neck of the gas tank opening).
