Looked in the projects section, but could only find this for the Gen1's.

I have a few lights out on my dash. Dealer wanted around $180 for just the labor. Screw that, since I've been unemployed for over a year. Bought the lights, though.

Has anyone done this on the Gen2's? Is it basically the same as the Gen1 procedure?

Any constructive input is mucho appreciated.

First thing it says:

Removal

NOTE: Prior to removal of the instrument cluster (IC), it is necessary to download the instrument cluster (IC) configuration information to the scan tool.

IDK if you can get it out far enough without unplugging the harness to change the bulbs or not.

I sent you the manual pdf.

Ive had mine out before, unplugged and all, with out doing any downloading etc.??, no issues that Ive noticed.

That said, I now have one bulb out as well, does anyone have a prat or bulb # before I remove it again??

Cheers, Todd

I imagine that the note in the removal instructions would be important if the instrument cluster is bring replaced, but not necessary if it is just being removed to access the bulbs (LED?).
