Resizing Pics

Isn't there a project to resize pictures? I can't seem to find it????

Oh, sorry, I hadn't even looked at it. I always just use MS Paint.

Here's the free powertoy from MS that does it... "Image Resizer"... only works with Windows XP:

I just open the pic in windows and click on edit and hit stretch/skew and reduce to 30%...

Came with windows xp...

This powertoy is very handy as it lets you simply right click on the pic, resize it to whatever size you want (640 x 480 is ideal for this website), then it saves the file in the same folder. The original file will remain... example 03.jpg. The new file it creates is called 03small.jpg.

Do a google for " INFRANVIEW "....it is a free recomended photo program...no spyware..

If you want to try your hand at html you don't need a resizer. You can always type this out to make it display in 640x480:



&ltimg src="&ltpath to your image&gt" width=640 height=480&gt



Of course it might be quicker to upload if you do resize the picture prior to transferring off of yourcomputer.
