anybody have pics of your boulder retaining walls and/or tiered retaining walls. Trying to get ideas for my new limestone walls as far as landscaping with mulch/rock, bushes, etc.

Here's our wall. It's two-level -- lots of lilies (not currently blooming) above the lower wall; rhubarb, a water spigot, and our recently-relocated air conditioner above the top wall; and some thistles I haven't gotten around to pulling out at the very bottom.

[Broken External Image]:

We regret doing it the way we did. Not that the wall looks bad or anything like that--but we should have changed the design of the house prior to construction to have the garage extend further back in this location instead. (The wall directly behind the rock wall is the back of the third stall of our garage. We could have added a "fourth stall" there, and even had a separate back-of-the-house-access lower level outdoor storage room. Oh well.)

Bill V,

Weed that crap. LOL

Seriously though, looks nice.

I have a retaining wall by the pool utilities, it is an arch and is your typical retaining wall block like this:

It turned out okay, and between that wall and the pool fence we mulched and have oriental grass to hide the utilities.
