the pt cruiser was one of the first retro attempt in the past decade.

imo, it was a nice look but grew old and it is still a chrysler.

bud,

the difference is that if it was a smashed up toyota it still would hold a better residual then a ford :bwahaha:

ABS and airbags didn't work in a wreck my mom had in her 2003 Camry. She was advised to sue, but didn't want to deal with it. The damage didn't look too terrible, but I guess the parts and labor to fix it were more than the value so it was totaled. I think the Honda Accord she replaced it with was a major upgrade.

On topic, though, good riddance to the PT Cruiser. My grandparents bought one a couple years ago because they wanted something they could pay cash for. It's a terrible vehicle in every aspect, imo. They love it, though.

I always loved the look of the PT Cruiser but would never, ever buy Chrysler product after the problems I had with them in the past.

TomT, ditto on the PTC's look. If they had been somewhat bigger, with both the mass and the engine to be able to reasonably tow a boat, I likely would have owned one in their early years.
