RS9000Xâ„¢ RSXâ„¢ RS5000â„¢ ???

Probably a question asked over and over...



For a semi stock ( Not rasied or lowered; no mods to engine at all, have EE sway bar) 05 ST XLT that will not be doing much off-roading, which would people reccomend?



Just from reading the 9000s look like overkill, but since I am used to stock ones, what do I know...



Also, what is a good price and site to buy?



(www.samsoffroad.com has 9000 for 274, RSX for 207 and RS5000 for 149.)



Last, does anyone actually have the remote for the 9000? What is that all about?

The RS9000 is definetly overkill. My dad had them on his crapalanche and he never adjusted them at all. I just put the RSX's on my trac, and they are great. I would go with those. The ride is really smooth, and they work great offroad.

Go with the RSX or Monroe Reflex (same shock). The ride is much better than stock.

RSX and jegs.com. I got mine for $54.95ea shipped. I only had 24,000 on the originals. There is a night and day difference.

RSX,,real good ride. Reflex same shock. For a little softer but better than stock, monroe sensatracs..

I have the RS5000s on my '04. I love them, they provide a stable ride that is not harsh. No more boat like bounce going down the road or heavy body roll. Save the $50 bucks.

I went from stock to RSX and would do it again. Better ride and feels more stable at highway speeds.
