Where is the best place to buy OEM Ford parts? I found this illustration on the Fordparts.com website and it appears you can order what you need from there but is there a better source? I know I could just go to the dealer but I also know I ordered some OEM tonneau cover parts before and I thought it was through fastpartsnetwork but the links to their website don't get me where I thought they used to???? It looks like you have to send Torrie an email now? I don't know, maybe I'm dreaming...what am I missing?

Yep - the previous site is down and I've yet to see a catalog with the new site (thread below). Questions asked; not answered. It's been three months since launch.

It's inconvenient to have to request pricing (there may be good reasons for not posting pricing), but to have to request parts availability (because there is no catalog), I don't have that kind of time.

Try eBay, Amazon, etc.

Torrie is a simple email away, I email him for almost all my Ford parts needs, He answers most of them within 10-20 min.

I guess I NEED to say again HE is a PAYING sponsor of this site, His money keeps it here.

The reason for no pricing is ford changes their prices daily and its frustrating. Plus this way he can guarantee you have the right part looked up and not using another sites look up that could be wrong.

ALSO a LOT of the OEM sport trac parts are discontinued from Ford and going obsolete.

Thanks for the updates. Actually, I was just checking prices for my brother-in-law. He only needs the silver running board trim piece for one side. The previous owner must have run over a tree stump or something. Anyway, one of the vendors on eBay lists running boards and parts for most Ford trucks and SUVs but not the Gen II Sport Trac. As I mentioned in my original post the fordparts.com website does list the part from the illustration and a price. That at least gives him an idea what to expect. He can buy it where ever he chooses.

The running boards are useful for entry of persons as delivered from the factory.

However, I have "abused" mine and now looking for rock skid tubes that attach to the frame, not the body. There are lots made for the Jeep community and maybe this is the route to go.

Any help is appreciated. The ST is a 2001.
