the driver seat base on my 2002 is broken and as a result the seat leans back quite a bit. I need to replace it. Will the seats from a regular explorer fit a sport trac?

Different track mounting for the floor, IF you switch the bottom track it can fit. Some one just did a 99-2000 complete interior swap.

There was a RECALL for 2001-02 with high back seats for recliner bolt failure. May want to call your dealer.
