About two years ago, I had a tooth pulled and for some reason it started a pain torrent. It broke through the novacaine and Vicodin didn't touch it. After two hours, I went to urgent care at the clinic. I got 50 mg of Demerol in the butt, but the nurse, by chance, hit a vein and I ended up getting it all IV in about three seconds. The normal rate to give IV Demerol is over a three to five minute period.



Anyway... I was INSTANTANEOUSLY buzzed and buzzed is an understatement. The pain was gone in seconds, but I was flying. I started conversations with everyone I ran into in the clinic. Someone had to come and give me a ride home because I was in no condition to drive.
