shift flare on 2005???

It seems as the temperature is dropping, I have developed a shift flare (2-3) on my 2005 sporttrac...



Didnt I read somewhere that the problem was fixed in like 03?



Anyway, would changing the fluid help it, or am i garanteed to need atleast a shift selenoid???



I have only owned this truck since February, so I dont know when the last tranny change was... but the fliud still looks clean enough..





its only a minor flare,,, dont even think i would have noticed if i didnt have a magnaflow, and it goes away once it warms up

On the 03 and up is was supposed to be fixed...



i would try resetting the computer first by disconnecting the NEG battery cable for about 15 min......



If not, how many miles on your st ??? A fluid change may be needed..

my trac has 125000km or 75000ish miles...



im going to probably change the fluid anyway, but i will try resetting the computer
