Hello All,
I am having an issue with my 01 Sport Trac. I started getting the error code P0765, shift solenoid D malfunction, a while ago. I figured it was a bad solenoid so I decided to replace the whole valve body with a re manufactured one with a shift kit installed. Got it installed and started the truck and the light was on so I cleared all the code and went for a test drive to warm it up and add fluid if needed. I did all this last night. While test driving I got engine breaks (or what felt like) in 1st and 2nd gears so I assumed the coast clutch was working. Got in today and started it and the light was back on with the P0765 code again and I'm also getting a P0735 code. Any help or opinions would be highly appreciated. I am racking my brain over the P0765 error code.
