So my lower ball joints are shot after 155k. :banghead:

I was wondering if I have to do the uppers at the same time or will they still be good?

Thanks in advance,

Brant

Generally speaking, they are either good or bad..

If they are good and tight at the time you can inspect them better, then all is well.

If there is play in them, while you have it apart, that is most definitely the time to change them as half the labor will have already been done.

When I changed my lowers, the uppers were still good so I left them. They are fairly easy to change later so you can easily do them anytime. The lowers are not so easy for a do-it-yourselfer. If your having someone do it, it probably makes sense to do both.
