COMPELLING AND BEAUTIFUL

Hundreds of frames and six weeks - shot with a Canon EOS 5D DSLR.

That is very cool. It is amazing though that all that, is. Actualy done in a slow motion almost. With so much exact precision.

Seen some step by step photos once. They were great also.

Thanks

A-W-E-S-O-M-E ! Excellent post Gary D. Thanks.

After all these years, the STS, and the Hubble Telescope never cease to amaze me.

From liftoff, it reaches Mach One in under a minute, at 35,000 feet. (4.5M lbs.)

Hoped to see one launch in my lifetime, not going to happen.

Only two more of those left folks. Once the shuttle stops launching, it's estimated the job losses will be 23,000 in Brevard county alone.

Then, we get to pay the Russians $50,000,000 a peice for a seat on their rocket to go to the space station.

I wonder what the total time was from beginning to end in real days..

It is sad when a "normal" person can pay half a mil to 1 million dollars to catch a ride on the Russian craft and we, (we being the US Government) will pay like 10 times that much...

Makes no sense.
