Sitting home this weekend.....

just sitting home on my ass this weekend with my left foot in a cast with a ruptured achilles

tendon. getting MRI next friday to see how bad it is torn up. at least i got to watch football and watch the busc series and nextel cup series races!

That sounds like it sucks. Good valid excuse to watch TV though. I have no excuse, yet I sit here now watching the race and looking at the backyard full of leaves that need to be collected and bagged.. I did the front/sides of the house so the neighbors couldn't see how lazy I truly am......



So how did you injusre yourself, and how long do you expect to be layed up?? I was off my feet for 30 days (supposed to be anyways) 3 years ago after some foot surgery. I got a lot of work done around the house during my 30 days off....

still going to work..... gotta pay the mortgage.

in this cast for at least 2 weeks. the mri will tell us whether surgey is needed or not.

if not it will be in a cast for at least 8-12 weeks. if surgery is needed it will be longer and

physical therapy afterwards. but still i have to work so it may take longer to heal.

im glad i got all my leaves and yard work done before i hurt this.

i stepped off my deck walikng backwards. didnt realize the end was there and POP!

took me a month though to go to the doctor finally couldnt walk anymore.

should not have waited so long.

A guy who works for me had the surgery. He gets his cast off this week and is greatly looking forward to it.

Ouch dude! I hope the pain isn't too bad.

I tore my left calf muscle once. It took 2 months before I was walking. I hope you heal faster.

thanks guys i will know more in about 2 weeks.

yeah i want this damn thing off my leg now and it s only been 4 days.

real pain in the ass working and walking around.

no doubt there, hope ya feel better, i feel ya bout being on the disabled list. i got hurt to skull/brain back in april of this year, and im still pretty messed up in the head. i havent returned to work, and im living off of workers comp. not sure when ill be back. but so far, doc's r guessing for jan '07
