Does anyone know where I can locate a floor-mounted high beam switch, like cars used to come with for years? I searched Google and JC Whitney , no luck. I'd prefer new, but if it works... We have no salvage yards anywhere around here.



I think it will make the HID / Bar-lights-as-high-beams mod much easier.

That should be available from a auto parts store. Ask for an 84 F150 high beam switch.

Or ask for a 1991 F-150 dimmer switch. My F150 had that feature.

Just walk into a local auto parts store. I am sure they will have it in stock. Probably even a pig tail for the wire harness if you need/want one...

I believe they had two spade connectors, if I'm not mistaken. No need for a pigtail.

it is a button on the floor that you step on so activate the bright lights. I think it was made so that you didnt have to take your hands off of the wheel while driving. I drove some mid 90's tractor trailers that had them......they were kind of annoying because the button was right on the floor where my left foot would rest, lol

Dang, now I feel old. Time was the switch was on the floor in everything.
