up to over a foot of snow in the ny tri-state area and lower upstate. :fire:

50-60 mph wind gusts here on long isle.

my new ride is on a railcar headed from albany to new jersey. hope it is not delayed and i can't believe that it is seeing its first snow before it even reaches the dealer

it gets better, no heat in my house this morning. going down to 22-30 tonight and the first appointment i can get is thursday :fire:

We got wet down here(southern NJ) saw a few flakes mixed in around 9pm(the benefit of living next to the warm ocean). Temp hit 32.2 degrees at 2:30 this morning. A little windy on the bay, 42mph last night. Ho-hum, another overrated storm. So I have to say two things:

Gary, remember the operative word is "truck", they are waterproof ya know?

That's crazy! It's not even winter, yet.

Supposedly, it's going to be a colder than usual winter in Georgia. I pray not.

I see they're some cities postponing Halloween tonight. They should've been in MN in '91 when we had a blizzard on Halloween and for the next 1-2 days and we still went out trick-or-treating. Best part was school was closed the next day. I think that was the only snow day I got in school besides an ice day.

Snow on the Big Island today. 1-3 in at the 13K ft. elevation. 'wish I could get a picture!!!

Yes.

I got on a roll and couldn't stop. I was on my third cup and don't drink decaf, I usually drink Green Tea.

At any rate I'm glad the temporary cease-fire is holding.

All should have a good day. Hope the power gets back on and the snow melts before the next front hits. Looks like a standard winter front, rather than a nor-easter.

Last night it got down to as low as 29 degrees, which is pretty cold for this early in the winter season. But considering that it was 100+ degree for more than 90 days this summer, I will never complain about cold weather in Texas again... Anything under 70 degrees is just perfect for me...:bwahaha:
