So, what do I have here. Is it a rare book or not?

Ok, going through my stuff selling things for Christmas. Found this book I bough 20 years ago.



It is,

PILOTING SEAMANSHIP and SMALL BOAT HANDLING

It is written by CHARLES F. CHAPMAN.



It is the 1951 edition. From what I can tell it is the same Chapman that most of the public buys the chart books still available today. I must have bought 10 or so myself. But, this is a book on everything, from how to operate and understand just about all things pertaining to water.



So what do you think???

I would say no. There is a 1951 edition on amazon.com in very good condition selling for only $15.

Not bad news. When I bought it I bought it for me. So nothing lost and knowledge gained.



That said, I'll give it a whirl on Ebay an see where it falls.
