How old is this news story? This concern has been out there for quite a long time, and the major websites (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, etc.) have taken some steps to address it, and are continuing to do so.

I know some may need smart phones for their bussiness.

IMO its just a toy for others.

The iritating thing to me. When Im visiting with freinds that have one. They are so darn busy surfing or texting. They are so side tracked. Tere in another world other than involved with the visit.

Speaking of texting. Seems to me like that is getting more important than a personal phone call.

JMHO, some of this technology of build and they will come. Has done nonthing more than seperating us from society and personal connection to each other. Including within you own family.

What I find amazing is the GPS tracking that the cops use to track people using their current cell phone locations. A friend accidentally butt-dialed 911. Within a couple of minutes a police officer friend drove into my driveway and pinpointed where my friend was standing when he butt-dialed 911.
