Ok need some help on which plugs to put in. I have the Bosch Plat. +4's in now but i have heard that they aren't really good on Ford's. Are Irdiums from Denso or any one at that worth the money? I have a small hesitation at idle and i am wondering if its those Bosch's? Thanks, Riley:cool:

I would be willing to bet the hesitation is caused by the plugs.

Yu have done the plugs once and are going to do them again. Why chance it by buying another set of gimmick plugs?

Use the plugs that were designed for the engine. Motorcraft.

I just put Autolite Double Platinums in mine and it helped on startup (replaced the wire too, so maybe it was that). The plugs were about 4 bucks each at Advance Auto, and were the same price at AutoZone.

Chris, with 4 electrodes, the chances of one of them being in line with the flame propagation path is very high. You can't even index them. An indexed single electrode is a much better bet. I have Denso irridiums and they work well, but then again, so did the stock plugs.

I just put the double platinum autolite plugs in mine today and the trac feels so much better. i changed the fuel filter too, you should have seen how much gunk came out of it!!!
