Have a 2002 with the Pioneer audio system. The sound is definately 'not good.' Have an old Taurus that has far superior sound. Anyone know of speakers that will fit on the Sport Trac windshield pillars.

go to crutchfield.com. That is where I got my replacement speakers at. they may have what you are looking for. Give them a call. I have always had good people to talk to.

Are you trying to flush mount some tweeters into the pillars?

The size you are looking for are TRUE 6x8 speakers. You can get 5x7/6x8's to fit but are alittle smaller. I got Kicker 6x8's in mine and they sound great. But you go with what you want. You can even get adaptor rings so you can put in 6 1/2" speakers in if you want. If you want exact fit, 6x8's is the size. (not all speaker makers make true 6x8's though.)

I have the alpine type-r spr57ls components and they are awesome. I would highly recommend them to anyone
