Am I the only one that thinks that grill guard looks out of place on that red ST? There is just something about it that I can't exactly explain. Maybe it needs chrome step bars or something.

I kinda like it the way it is. But another ST of the week and they haven't posted anything.

I'm not real fond of those big front end bars. Takes too much away from the original styling of the ST. The Safari bar isn't too bad, but sometimes too big is too much.

It definately looks like some photo-chopping has been going on in the picture.

The shadow just doesn't look right under the front of the vehicle, the reflection in the chrome of the Grill guard doesn't match that of the ST, even though other pictures in the library show it from a couple of other views, it still doesn't look natural.

The other pictures in the members folder shows a head-on shot, but the shadow looks like it has been doctored when compared to the rest of the items in the picture like a telephone pole, and other things that should have a well defined shadow as what is presented under the ST.

The rear 3/4 shot is the only undoctored shot of the ST. The other two feature an artificial gravel driveway. The dead-giveaway to going under the Photoshop knife is the repitition of patterns. Even though all three pictures appear to have been taken on the same day, in the same location, within mins of each other, the head on and front 3/4 shots are doctored. You can see some of the original gravel driveway under the Trac in both pics.

Regardless, the Trac itself looks unaltered in anyway, including the grille guard.

EDIT-

Actually, all three pics have been altered...just the rear 3/4 is a lot more convicing then the other two.

The Trac wasn't copped into the background, distracting background elements have been cropped out. The reason why it looks so 'strange' is due mostly to the shadow up underneath the Trac.

I agree Tom R. It seemed like some photo-editing was done. Not trying to bash it or anything, something's odd about it is all. I think the entire ST was cropped onto the background. Lighting and shadows don't add up.

WOW! You guys are good. I just had to go back and look. It does look altered.
