I rented a car dolly today to pick up an '01 Mitsubishi Diamante. 2 places, one being Uhaul, would not rent to me because I was pulling with an Explorer. It was a 72 mile trip through city streets, state and county highways and country roads. It was a bit slow off the line but handled it very well. The car weighs in at 3500lbs.

I passed several other ST's on my way home and kept saying "See? This is what your truck can do."

:driving:

Yes, it is too bad that U Haul won't rent a trailer if it is to be pulled by anything with Explorer in its name. Did you end up renting from a local company?

I pulled this back from Memphis down to New Orleans a few weeks back on a U-Haul dolly with my Excursion! Lol

Cool, I tow my show truck a couple times a year to shows further out when we wanna put the ST in shows too. I tow it on a uhaul car trailer (we list it as an F-150 or a Ranger sometimes) or we'll just pick up the trailer with my buddy's F-250 and switch out trucks across the street. The guy at the uhaul knows I'm towing with the ST but doesn't care. I'm still looking for a open runner trailer.
