Steering Wheel Button Controls?

I need a set of steering wheel button controls for my 05 ST. Mine are starting to lose the black coloring on them, and they're around $95 to replace them :throwup:

I was wondering if someone might have a steering wheel lying around, or the buttons perhaps, or maybe an easy way to fix it without replacement.

I have a complete Steering wheel with airbag module for 100 bucks on Kijiji. I am in Canada but we could figure out shipping I'm sure.
