Hi,

Can anyone recommend a nice steering wheel cover for my '05 Trac. My tan leather wheel has a ton of spiderweb cracks and I want to dress it up. Thanks!

I don't know what your budget is but you may want to consider this.

It was an easy replacement

No, didn't need to remove the original. The wheelskin comes with basically a sewing kit. It has a really tough string and needle that comes with it. When you sew it on, it wraps around the steering wheels and meets the other end. It essentially changes the entire surface.

There were only 2 drawbacks I had with it.

1 - It is a slight bit bigger and felt a little different (thicker) Not really a drawback I guess because it was so quick and easy to get used to.

2 - I have a tan leather interior on my 01 and they did not have a match. So, I picked a nice brown leather instead. So, the color doesn't match.

I will see if I can find a picture.

Well, I couldn't find any, so I took some. It is dark, so I hope you don't mind. You get the jist of it. Mine is pretty dirty, but then again, the ST has 172,000 miles on it. So a little dirt is to be expected. You can see the color difference. Like I said, I got used to it. You can also see how it wraps around the original steerting wheel. It wraps tight and feels good. I hope this helps.
