Step Bars

Here are some bad pics of the step bars since I've painted them. Again, the bars are painted army black but I let the treads the stock color.

Woppy, painted them myself. If you check my post from sunday about my tranny pan, you'll see some of the parts in the process of painting. My buddy is in the national guard and we do work on my truck and his car on the base on weekends. I even got to use the army black they have for painting the camoflage print on their trucks. We used a grinding pad on the metal parts to get all of the rust off first and then I put 2 coats of paint on everything. The plastic was first treated with an adhesive promoter.

hmmmm.... I am thinking about re-installing my running boards but I would definately have to paint them black. but i am enjoying jumping into my trac for now!
