I have a single 12" Alpine Type R sub that i want to put into my 03' ST. Its appox 7 and 3/4" deep. Is there anyway to mount that behind my back seats. Ive seen pictures with people that have them mounted behind there back seat. I know plenty of people that know how to build boxes and what not but how'd you get the plastic out . If it won't fit...any other ideas on where to place it

You have about 5" of space behind the rear seats. That 12s depth is way too much. I don't even think you could get it under the seat either. Prolly the best location for a sub that size would be the center console. Good luck on your choice of location, b/c there isn't much.

I did a 10" sub and still had to sand down some wood inside the box.

Center Console should work. I only put a 10 in mine, but I'm pretty sure I could have fit a 12 if I wanted.
