Today Circuit City installed the final and most significant portion of my 2007's audio system: A Kicker ZX700.5 5-channel amp, Pioneer 10" Shallow Sub, and Pioneer behind the seat enclosure. The enclosure fits behind the seat perfectly with the amp mounted just above with enough clearance for ventilation. The sound is unbelievable with this combination. This enclosure yields great results when paired with the subwoofer it was designed for. I have the 70w x 4 channels driving Infinity Reference 6812cf speakers and the 210w x 1 channel driving the sub, all at 4 ohms. The amp has a certified output of 967 watts, so I'm pushing everything above the rated power of the amplifier. It all sounds much better than my previous setup on a Honda Civic with 2 Audiobahn SE 12"s and a 600w Sony amp bridged mono.

If anyone is interested, check out Crutchfield for info on the Enclosure (Pioneer UD-SW10B) and Subwoofer (Pioneer TS-SW2541D). I always use Froogle @ Google.com to find the best price.

Hope this helps anyone interested in audio systems!

Looks good, I see you found a use for the "hole" left by ford... LOL

Yes, the 60 side folds completely upright and locks in, with an additional inch or so of clearance for the amp. I never thought a single 10" besides a Kicker Solo-Baric could hit so hard! I'm very impressed! I could be sending the sub a lot more power, but frankly that would probably be too much... I had to turn all the levels down because those set during the install actually hurt my 21 year-old ears!

I actually haven't added up everything myself, maybe I don't want to!

The install price is higher than normal since it's a 5 channel amp and all my door speakers had to be wired to the amp. I agree with Seattle, most CC installs are rushed and don't turn out well. But, the audio shop nearest to me installed my previous setup which didn't even work when the transmission was in Drive (startup wire improperly connected), plus my amp fell off the back of my seat. Needless to say CC was my only option and I was lucky no one was waiting for an install and the manager was the only one who worked on my truck.

I've tweaked the levels and crossovers and everything sounds even better than yesterday.
