I found it odd there is no mention here of the game tonight. Perhaps the teams playing this year have no fans? I'm not a follower of either team, but if I had to bet, I'd put my money on The Colts, just because Rex Grossman is too inconsistent.

I haven't decided if I will stay up for the game. It starts at 1 a.m. here, and I'd be tired all day at work if I stayed up all night watching it. Definitely no alcohol if I do, since drinking within 8 hours of duty is forbidden.

Maybe I'll just stay up for the first half. By then, the game is usually so lopsided I won't have to watch the rest. :)

I do not follow it also, but I'm in a $100 pool that pays 400 every time the score changes. I have the Bears 7 and the Colts 0. The final score is paid out with what ever money is left over from all the payouts. I think it's a great way to run a pool.

I don't think American football is very popular in Poland, although there are a lot of Polish people living in the Chicago area. :p

Well just to give you an insight it is nasty her in the MIA, no sun, slight wind and rain since early this morning. I live about 3miles from the stadium, I was going to take the kids as close as I can get to watch the fly over, but I canceled that due to the weather, they may fly over the house. Any way the game can go either way in these weather conditions. Enjoy.:)

True. Football (soccer) rules over here. I doubt most here even know there is a game. I was shocked about the soccer-related killings that happened over in Italy this week while I was there. it is pretty senseless. I can watch the Super Bowl over here on my Slingbox. :)

I think most of Michigan is going for the Bears, because our team (Lions) suck so bad. Chicago is closer to me than Detroit anyways...Go Bears!

Jorge, enjoy the game. My brother's ad agency paid for his trip last year. He took his son with him, instead of me. :(

He said it is a lot of fun, but way too expensive if he was paying to go himself. :)

I got a chace to go to the Super Bowl when it was in Husotn. A friend of mine worked for AOL at the time and won a company compition to go. I am not going to lie and say it was not a fun trip but I did get to see how the Super Bowl revolves around big business. I was in the nose bleeds and the price on the ticket was $500. I would say that of all the tickets sold about 70-80% of those went to big business that supported the NFL that year. For the two of us the total trip cost around $10,000. AOL paid for the trip but because it was considered a Bonus my friend had to pay the taxes on the trip. So we both chipped in for that. Bonuses are taxed 40% so it was not a cheep trip as a result.

The game was fun but the pregame tailgate party held in the next door convention center was by far the best part of the day. The Houston cheerleaders were there and they had a BBQ compitition, cajun food, tex mex, free booz, and bands playing on the center stage. They also has a small rodeo show in one corner.

All the oter events that AOL did not provide were way too expensive and we decided not to go. Not to mention that all the resturants charged more for food due to the large crouds of people.

Heck even the rental car a Toyta Ecco cost me $120 a day.
