Tailgate mat / cover

Hey everyone. I am getting ready to open the tailgate mat / interior cover. I see that it is held on with three screws and a handful of plastic rivets. Are those rivets durable enough I can reuse them? Or are they like most plastic rivets and garbage after you remove them the first time? Would like to go ahead and order some new ones if they are going to break when I pop them off. Thanks

I replaced the tailgate cover on mine. The plastic rivets didn't break, but fit so loosely after reusing them that I ordered some new ones.

I got some plastic rivets from Advance Auto in the HELP section for my Trac's front air dam last week. They had a fairly decent selection of different sizes and kinds. Might save you a buck or two from Ford's.
