Does anyone know if the 2010 (or 07-10) tailgate are the same as any of the F series?



I want to add a power tailgate lock as easily as possible without too much (or any) fabrication.

I did it to my 2007 ST but it took a lot of work and time which I am short on now. I was hoping to find something that would be more of a bolt on thing and wire it up.

Yes same tailgate as short bed 150...

Does that hold true for the Gen1 ST?

The gen1 is smaller if I remember correctly.

i had an alarm with remote start installed on my 2010 Adrenaline. i also was thinking about adding a remote lock/unlock actuator to unlock the tailgate as the remote control has two additional channels:driving:

The Gen-1 Sport Trac tailgate is the same as the pre-2000 F-150 tailgate. They just added a small plastic molding along the bottom of the F150 tailgate to carry the shadow line from the wheel well arches back along the lower fender to the tailgate.
