Check engine lite came on and idle became rough, surging when stopped, on my '01 ST with 64,000+ miles. I remembered your post about the cracked vaccuum elbow and looked it up. Found the elbow hose and sure nuff, was an inch-long crack right along the top. Took about 20 minutes to replace. Thank you, Sir, for the info, and thanks to this site for being there to help.

No problem at all. It never did happen to either of my Tracs. I simply took charge of the pictures and kept trac of the codes and what not to help others.
