Just like to say thanks to all those how have posted projects on the site. i just replaced front wheel bearing/hub followed Woppy's project, everything went fine and all is well now. Those hubs are not cheap, $161 canadian, with 100k km it is time for shocks plugs and a few other things, so I'll be using a few more projects shortly.

Thanks again, and great site

I just got my spark plugs replaced. I'm not an experienced mechanic, so I took the truck into the shop and had it done there. It runs like a top now, and I didn't pay anywhere close to what people have been quoting on the forum.

and yes, it was in Canada.

Does anyone know how this compares to an 07?

I am getting a noise from my front left, mostly when I am turning.

How long did the repair take?

Thanks,

Tim

Working time, just over an hour. But add in 2 trips to different hardware stores for 32mm socket, first store that was close by only had 1 1/4 socket, it was a little loose so returned it and got 32 mm, it was not as loose but still not perfect, but it worked nicely, you do need an impact gun to get that bolt off, total time 2.5 hrs.

My truck had a low grinding noise, you could here increase and decrease with speed. My wife's Grand prix only made grinding noise on turns. If you jack up the suspect wheel you'll probrably get some movement on it. Don't let it go to long, already had wear on inside of tire from the loose bearing, noise only started a week ago.
