Just wanted to let anyone who supplied information to me earlier, know that the Trac did great pulling a < 3,000lb boat off the bumper hitch! Thanks for all the advice!
I just put on a new draw-tite hitch so I won't be needing the bumper hitch anymore. But for that one trip to the lake it did awesome! As much as I was worried, I couldn't believe how well it pulled!
I'll post pictures of that trip as soon as I get them online as the boat dwarfed the Sport Trac and its quite impressive.
