I'll start:

My buddy and I both had Pintos. One day he got the idea to mask off a racing stripe from the front to the rear, right over the top. He sprayed it with black spray paint, and it looked really good!

A week later I could see that the stripe was still looking real good, so I did my Pinto too. Soon we had half the school painting racing stripes on their cars with Krylon!

Wish I kept some pics of all the cars...

I graduated in 1968.

#1 removing the hub caps or replacing them with baby moons

#2 Hair gel and combing your hair backwards on the sides

#3 The lastest pair of pointed toe shoes

lol hmm.... in highschool....

underbody neons, thank god i was too lazy to install the underglow on my truck and sold the kit, but my buddys are stuck with em on their trucks and cars

:bwahaha:

im glad my taste have evolved to what i have now...even when i had the giant silver vinyl, now its just crazy ugly

spikey hair, ridiculously baggy pants, trance music (that didn't last long)

Car wise, I was into little rice racers... I could never understand why someone who lived in the city would own a pick up truck

Now look at me... :bwahaha:

But yea, I definitely put a couple cheesy black plastic hood scoops on my red Honda Civic hatchback and thought it was totally bad ass. A buddy who owned a "pimped out" CRV asked how much the hood cost me, and being somewhat embarrassed at the damn things I said.. "I dont want to give you the real figure, but somewhere in the neighborhood of $250" He gave me an approving nod and walked on..

Never again will I defile my car with that kinda crap

Reaper, they were smooth chromed hubcaps, that cover the lugs only. Werent many custom wheels back then, and they cost mucho $$$.

Really wide rear view mirrors made up of like 5 different separate mirrors. I see them on golf carts these days. I had one in my 78 celica cause it was the in thing back then (1990).

I had baby moons on the chrome steel wheels on my '74 Camaro!

Also, the single Thrush muffler on my '67 Impala 283 with the 2-speed slipandslide PowerGluide!

I even had a "Sound Exploder" amp on my Kraco 8-track stereo!

Never got the big "gold crown" dash air freshener, although I kind of wanted one to be a bit badass ghetto.

Car LeBra's...Actually I still love having this on my F-150 because I had the rarer version that wen up to the windshield. Here is my artists rendering done in charcoal/pencil since I don't have an actual picture on my work computer

(Side note on the picture, I drew this in college. I did the outline sitting in my garage looking at the front of my truck. Did all the shading at home from memory. My professor critiqued it and said that I had an eye for detail, especially around the center of the hood where it has that little ridge, she thought I started at it for hours. I didn't have the heart to tell her I just did it from my memory)

Oh yeah Eddie & Gavin...

Chrome reverse rims w/ baby moons!

Reverb on the AM radio and if you're really with it...an 8 track tape player with a slide in mount.

Air shocks and a set of traction bars.

I had a 65 Mustang with a 1 piece fiberglass front end and skinny tires & CRAGARS up front with L60 X 15 tires w/deep dish CRAGARS on the rear...what a car
