Tire size for '00 Ranger 4x4??

Does anyone know if a 265/75/16 will fit on a 2000 Ranger 4x4? My brother is getting new tires this week, and wants the 265's if they will fit.

Assuming it has the factory 16" wheels, a 265/75-16 will fit fine with a torsion bars turned up just enough to level the truck. The rear will be fine.

On Rangers there is some variation in how the torsion bars are set from the factory. My '99 rode quite high in front and my '02 was so low (stock) that the stock tires rubbed at full lock turning into my parking space at work.

if his rims are 16" they should fit with minor rubbing

Thanks for the help! I think he is going to go with the 265/70's rather than the 265/75's.
