tonneau cover brackets

Can I take the tonneau cover brackets off without any issues? I need to haul a bunch of furniture and I don't want these brackets cutting anything up.

you can, but why? I just take the tonneau folded down and when i am finish with the bigger stuff, i just slide it back over.

we're moving a sectional couch and I don't want to these brackets to cut anything up.

ok, then you may take them down or put some wood pieces in front.

yes, JUST be careful if the nut serts start spinning in the fiberglass... Seen a few do that and then your done....
